<< Click to Display Table of Contents >> Flyleaf |
The first tab of the Operating Order is the Flyleaf. It appears in the east panel after you have selected an operating order in the south panel.
The flyleaf contains the same information as a traditional, form-based flyleaf, but also handles the State and Version of the operating order.
The fields for Station and Line can be retrieved from the graphic. Whether Identity or Name is retrieved depends on customer-specific configuration.
1.Press on next to each field.
2.Select a graphic component that belongs to the desired object in the map or diagram. The value of the selected object is filled in the field.
If a retrieved value is missing, ??? is displayed in the field. This may be because:
•The documentation is missing.
•Another value in the network documentation is mapped to the field. For example, if the field is mapped to Name, but only Identity is documented for the station.
The operation order module contains a simple resource register for own staff, departments, organizational functions and contractors.
The purpose of the resource register is to:
•Reduce the need for manual entry and the risk of typing errors.
•Automatically fill in contact details for mobile phone, radio calls and e-mail.
•Manage permissions and areas of interest within the Operations order module.
The fields linked to the resource register are:
•Electrical operation supervisor
•The rows in For action.
•The lines in For information.
•Switching assistant per Switch time.
•Electrical safety supervisor per Work stage.
You can manually enter or change people and contact details directly in the fields, for example if a resource is missing from the register or if a phone number needs to be temporarily changed. These changes do not affect the original data in the resource register.
To update the original data, see section Resource registry.
1.To assigne or replace a resource for one or more selected operation order rows, right-click and select Assigne/replace resource. A dialog box opens.
2.Enter the name of the new resource and press OK to update the selected rows. If the Assigned for action field already contains resources, you can also select from a drop-down list in the dialog box. The list shows the users by acronym, and if there is no acronym, the full user name is shown.
The State field shows the status of an operating order, for example whether it is ready for review, needs completion or is approved. See section Work flow, states for more information.
All fields in the Flyleaf can be edited as long as the operating order does not have a Completed state. However, this is not the case for the Prerequisites and Operation rows tabs.
The operatiing order number field is automatically generated from a number series in the database. Not all numbers in the series are necessarily used, but duplicates are avoided.
The number format can be customized according to customer needs, for example
•Single number series: nnnnn
•Year + serial number: YYYYY-nnnnn
The Version field automatically increases each time the operating order changes from Revising to Approved or Under Executing. This ensures that everyone involved has access to the same information, especially those who cannot view the operating order online.
Here you can specify which operating order the current operating order replaces.
Check the box to indicate that the operating order was created on short notice.
Created and its date is automatically set when the operating order is created.
Approved and its date are automatically set when the States is changed to Approved.
There are two lists for resources to be informed about the operating order:
•For action
•For information
New entries can be added from the Resource register or entered manually in the dialog box that opens when you press Add or Edit.
An arbitrary number of Outage times can be registered to an operating order. Each outage time can be labeled with a Work phase, Start and End time as well as an internal and an external note.
When an outage is created from an operating order, an outage time is transferred as follows:
1.If there is an ongoing outage time, its start and end time are used.
2.If no ongoing outage time exists, the next scheduled outage time is used.
Example:
We have an outage time (A) running between 12:00 and 13:00 and an outage time (B) running between 16:00 and 17:00.
The clock is now |
Result |
---|---|
11:59 |
Outage time A |
12:01 |
Outage time A (still active) |
13:01 |
Outage time B |
16:59 |
Outage time B (still active) |
17:01 |
Time must be entered manually |
Outage times must not overlap. Copied outage times can be edited directly in the outage, see section Edit underlying outages.
Outage times on the flyleaf are not linked to the customer-affecting operations of the operation rows.
•Internal and external notes are transferred to the outage when it is created. •Changes in the note fields do not affect already created outages see section Edit underlying outages. •For customers publishing the external listing on the web, a message can be written in advance before starting the work. |
Switch times work in the same way as outage times, with one important difference - each switch time can have one switching assistant. This means that several switching assistants can be linked to one operating order.
•Phone numbers, radio calls and emails are taken from the resource register but can be changed manually.
•Contacts can also be added manually, even if they are missing in the resource register.
•Start and end times for switch times determine when the operating order appears in the outage list, see section Search for operating orders by using the tab Outages.
When an announcement is made from the Operation order module, the announcement number is saved and displayed in the flyleaf. Multiple announcements can be handled for the same operating order, usually from different operating rows. See section Affected customers for details. If an announcement is made by other means, the information can be manually recorded in the flyleaf.
•Press in the lower left corner of the operating order to export operating rows to PDF for printing. The fields displayed in the PDF are customized according to customer needs.
•Press to preview the PDF, for example to check page breaks.
