<< Click to Display Table of Contents >> Search operating orders |
There are two recommended methods to search for operating orders, the tab Operating order or the tab Outages. In both cases the details for the operating order will be found in the east panel when it is selected in the south panel.
See the following two sections.
It is also possible to search for operating orders in the Query Tool. The possibility to open detailed information or change attributes is restricted when using the query tool which is why this method is not recommended.
In the tab Operating order (see also separate section), all the operating orders can be found regardless of their state and time. For each and every operating order it is possible to store a station and/or a line (outgoing group or cable number) in the flyleaf. These fields can be used to later search for the operating order. It is also possible to apply one or several states to the search filter. The state All current lists operating orders that have the states New, Pending validation, Validating, Pending amendment, Approved, Executing and Revising. (Not the state Parked).
Press the button Select search criteria to hide or show search criteria fields.
The operating orders are also displayed in the tab Outages not to force the operator to repeatedly have to switch between the outages and operating order lists. Operating orders are displayed if they are approved but not yet completed.
Filtering of operating orders in the outage tab based on switching time works as follows:
•In order for an operating order to be displayed in the outage list it needs to have either of the states Approved, Revising or Executing.
•The operating order also needs to fulfill one of the following criteria:
1.One of the switching times in the flyleaf overlaps the current time.
2.Start for any switching time is within the selected time horizon (all current, within 3 hours,...)
3.The last switching time is passed but the operating order is not completed.
To prevent future operating orders to conceal ongoing outages, it is possible to adjust the time horizon by using the drop-down alternative All current. Displayed operating orders can be limited to between 3-72 hours ahead. The time that the time horizon is matched against, is the nearest switching time that is not yet passed. See section Switch times for more information.
Example (24h format):
We have an operating order with two switching times (the date is removed for simplicity). Switch time 1 is 08:00-09:00 and switch time 2 is 14:00-15:00. The time interval is 3 hours.

The operating order disappears from the list. |
Significant fields from the operating order have been mapped to the outage fields in the list. The selection of fields can vary between the customer applications.
•The operating order number is displayed in the ID field for the outage.
•Map (sheet) and Work Order number are shown in their fields.
•Occurred/Executes is based on the start point for the first switch time.
•Planned restored is based on the end point for the last switch time.
•Summation of affected end-customers works in the same way as for an outage. For the customers with their summation separated at MSP and LSP outage, there is a difference - on the current version, MSP and LSP will be shown together for operation outage.
If an operating order has been selected in the tab Outages, the details for the operating order will be shown in the east panel.
The operating order is displayed as Planned in the outage list - in difference to unplanned outages and similar to other planned outages.
Note! That operating orders have different states than the status of the outages. While an ongoing, confirmed outage is Verified, the corresponding operating order has the state Executing.
