<< Click to Display Table of Contents >> Administrate links (decision points/label) |
It is possible to assign labels to decision points. This is done in the same way as for Activities, but is found as a separate tab in the administration part of the Organizer menu > Administer links (decision point/label).
Search for and select the task to be used in the south panel.
Select the Workflow tab in the east panel that opens for the task.
Press the button (Create new decision point for the task). In the dialog that opens are the decision points that are already configured for decision points.
Configuring new decision points is done in the Codelist Manager and there are mainly two codelists used, Decision Point Type/DEC_POINT_TYPE_CL and Decision/ DECISIONS_CL. In order to open the codelist manager, administrator rights are required in dpSpatial because the codelist manager is accessed from the Administration menu.
In the codelist manager, select codelist owner DSG and the codelist Decision point type/DEC_POINT_TYPE_CL.
Select the decision type that you want to configure and select Add.
In the codelist manager, select codelist owner DSG and the codelist Decisions/ DECISIONS_CL.
Select the decision type that you want to configure and select Add.
It is also possible to edit a decision type in the codelist by selecting the decision type and pressing the button Edit row. In the dialog that opens, you change the decision type and decide what should happen after the decision is executed.
By combining different decision types and parameters for the next step, you can, for example, select that the next activity in the existing workflow starts automatically after the decision, while the first activity in a new task in the project also starts automatically.
You can also start two or more embedded activities or decisions in the existing flow. In this way, the workflow can be run in parallel tracks.

Change decision evaluation parameters
Parameter |
Function |
Parameter 1 for decision evaluation /ACTION_PARAM1 |
ID in the system for the template we are going to work with. |
Parameter 2 for decision evaluation /ACTION_PARAM2 |
From which activity the part of the task template should be added. |
Parameter 3 for decision evaluation /ACTION_PARAM3 |
For which activity the part of the task template should be included. |
1.Open a row for editing in the Codelist Manager.
2.Filled-in values for Parameters 2 and 3 are those that are set for the start and end point of the part of the task template that should be able to be looped.
Parameter 2 = starting point for the part of a project template that should be loopable.
Parameter 3 = end point for the part of a project template that should be loopable.
Codelist values for the starting point can be found under Organizer > Administrate links (activity/label).
Codelist values for the endpoint can be found under Organizer > Administrate links (decision point/label).
Open Organizer > Administrate Links (Activity/Label) to search for the specified starting point. Information about labels for other possible starting points is also available here.
Open Organizer > Administrate Links (Decision Point/label) to search for the specified endpoint. Information about labels for other possible endpoints is also available here.
As an administrator in Organizer, it is therefore possible to change these start and end points.
When the correct start and end point labels are added press Save to configure the changes.
