With the function Administrate holidays, you define how the calendar in the application should be displayed in different countries and regions. You register public holidays and define which weekdays are generally working days and holidays.
1.Go to Administration > Administrate holidays... The Administrate holidays dialog box opens.
2.Deactivate the selection Show only countries with holiday data.
3.Select country from the Select country drop-down list.
a.Click the button Add new holiday. The dialog box Add new holiday opens.
b.Select country from the Select country drop-down list..
c.If you want to define a holiday only for a specific region, enter the name of the region in the Region field.
d.Select the type of day from the Type drop-down list.
e.Enter the name of the holiday in the Name field..
f.Enter the date of the holiday in the Date field or select the date in the calendar.
g.If the holiday recurs on the same date for several years, specify the number of years the holiday is to be repeated in the field Repeat yearly in.
h.Click the Save button. The holidays are shown in the table Date specific holidays.
i.Click the Close button. The dialog box Add new holiday closes.
j.To define more holidays, repeat steps a-i.
a.Click the Edit weekdays button. The dialog box Edit weekdays opens.
b.If you want to define weekdays only for a specific region, enter the name of the region in the Region field.
c.For each weekday, select any of the choices Weekend holiday, Weekend, Half working day or Working day.
d.Click the Save button. The weekday and its definition are shown in the Weekdays table.
e.Click the Close button. The dialog box Edit weekdays closes.
1.Go to Administration > Administrate holidays... The dialog box Administrate holidays opens.
2.Select country from the Select country drop-down list.
3.Select the holiday or weekday you want to edit in the Date specific holidays and Weekdays table, respectively.
4.Click the Delete button under either table. The holiday or weekday disappears from the table Date specific holidays or Weekdays. The dialog box Add new holiday or Edit weekdays closes.
To edit holidays, first delete the holiday in the Date specific holidays table. Then do step 4 in the section Define calendar for a new country.
To edit weekdays, do step 5 in the section Define calendar for a new country.
