In most cases, the template type can be set to the default value Undefined. However, there are two situations where the Template type can be specified to steer certain functionality:

•Customer service task – Is used in the module Customer. Templates with this type can be used in the function Create task from template in the right-click menu.

This is useful for example in the tab ”Stake holder” to create a task by right-clicking on a customer or subscriber. The task will be created and the customer/subscriber will be linked to it as a stake holder.

•Connection – Used in the module NCP (New Customer Process). Templates of this type will be available in the function New project with a copy of selected inquiry/application… in tab Connections in Organizer's south panel.
