Blocked workflow

There are several situations where a process for some reason is blocked and unable to continue according to the model.

To resume blocked workflows you need the role DSG_WORKFLOW_ADMIN.

 

Search for tasks where the workflow has been blocked

1.In the menu bar, select Organizer > Show/Hide administration.

2.Select the Administrate tasks tab.

3.Press Search. The column Workflow blocked in the result shows the date when the task got stuck.

You can sort the results to show the tasks with interrupted workflows at the top by pressing the column heading Workflow blocked.

The tasks with blocked workflows can also be found in the Query Tool in the Reports tab, select Organizer > Troubleshooting reports > Blocked workflows. Here you can right-click on a row in the result and select Resume workflow.

 

Manage process driven workflows

1.In the results in the south panel, select the task.

2.Press Manage process driven workflows and select between:

oResume workflow

oBlock workflow

oOpen error report in query tool

 

Failed automations

An automation can fail for several reasons, for example because a web service is down.

 

Search for failed automations

1.Press Query Tool .

2.Select Reports > Organizer > Troubleshooting reports > Failed automations.

3.Press Search to see a list of failed automations. All failed automations are listed with one row for each error message, showing some information from the task, activity, automation and the reason for the failure.
