Documents

Documents can be linked to each task.

Link documents to tasks

When a task has linked documents, the number is shown in brackets in the Documents tab.

 

1.Select a task in the Organizer south panel. The east panel opens.

2.In the east panel, select the Documents tab.

3.Add the desired documents or database documents.

4.To link documents to workflow items, the document must be added as a Database document:

a.Select the desired rows in the DB Documents section.

b.In the DB Documents linked to workflow section, select the desired workflow items.

c.Press Link document to workflow item . The linked documents are displayed in the workflow item's Workflow > Message tab.

 

Place symbol objects for documents in the map

By default, the symbol objects for documents are hidden in the map and are only displayed for the specific task when you log in to the changeset for the task.

Symbols can only be displayed for database documents.

Create a database document from a document from the Linked documents section:

1.Select the desired document and press Create a new DB document from linked document .

 

1.Right-click on the desired row in the DB documents section and select Add document symbol.

2.Place the symbol object in the map.

Right-click on the symbol object in the map and select Show/change attributes. In the Document symbol tab, you can Preview the document. The Related data tab shows a tree structure over the related data of the symbol object.
