In Nätkollen, you can create two types of tasks: Manual cable inquiry and Manual tree guarding. Tree guarding means that overhead cables are monitored when the landowner cuts down trees near the cable owner's facility.

The manually created tasks are only saved in Nätkollen. Therefore, if a customer calls for help with a tree removal, it is important to remind the customer to also ask other cable owners through Ledningskollen.

The task is always part of a project, new or existing. It is advisable to create a common working method for how projects should be used for manual tasks. One way is to create an annual project that owns all tasks of the same type.

 

1.In the menu bar, select Organizer > Show/Hide Organizer.

2.Under the Tasks tab, press the Create task/project button. A dialog box opens.

3.In the Projects section, select New to create a new project for the assignment and fill in a name, or select an existing project from the drop-down list.

4.In the Task template section, select Manual cable inquiry (Nätkollen) > NK Manuell ledningsförfrågan or Manual tree guarding (Nätkollen) > NK Manuell trädbevakning.

5.Fill in the other desired information about the task and press Create. The dialog box closes. The task appears in the list under the Tasks tab in the south panel.

6.Select the task in the south bar. The task opens in the east panel.

7.Fill in the desired information about the task. The fields for required information are pink.

8.To email the customer from Nätkollen, enter the customer's email address in one or both of the Email and Reply address fields.

9.Press Save.

10. Draw one or more inquiry areas on the map for which you want to create maps. Press the icon Place task graphics and select Place task area and place the area or areas on the map.
