Shows or hides filtering of surveillance of power operation areas, primary and power substations and bays. Filtering means that notifications and outages only are displayed for the areas, substations and bays as well as the voltage levels that each user has selected. For unsurveilled power operation areas, stations and bays, notifications and outages are displayed for all users.
When filtering is activated, the Area surveillance symbol is displayed in the toolbar . When the symbol is green, all areas, stations and bays are surveilled. If the symbol is red
, it means that there are power operation areas, stations and bays that are unsurvielled.
1.Press on the Area surveillance symbol. The dialog box Area surveillance opens.
Power operation areas, stations and bays are displayed in a tree structure. You can select objects at all levels in the tree structure for surveillance, but the objects at different levels are interconnected. When you select a child object, you are also assigned its parent object. Correspondingly, all child objects are included when selecting a parent object.
The surveillance status of the tree structure is shown by the object name and symbols.

1.In the tree structure, select one or more of the unsurveilled objects power operation area, station or bay.
2.Select voltage level or voltage levels for the selected objects.
The voltage level or levels you select applies to all power operation areas, stations and bays that you surveil. |
3.Right-click and select Surveil. The name(s) of the selected object(s) change color and font style. The object symbol also changes and the selected voltage level(s) are displayed in the Voltage column. Your name appears in the Surveillors (users) column.
1.In the tree structure, select one or more of the objects power operation area, station or bay that you surveil.
2.Right-click and select Stop surveilling. The name(s) of the selected object(s) change color and font style. The object symbol also changes and the selected voltage level(s) is removed from the Voltage column. Your name is removed from the Surveillors (users) column.
1.In the tree structure, select one or more of the power operation area, station or bay that is surveilled by another user, and that you also want to surveil.
2.Press the button Surveil same feeders as other user . The dialog box Surveil same feeders as other user opens.
3.In the drop-down list, select the user(s) who are surveilling the power operation area, station or bay that you also want to surveil.
4.Press OK. A copy of the surveilled object(s) of the selected user is displayed in the tree structure. Both users' names are displayed in the column Surveillors (users).
Inactivate another user that is surveilling power operation area, station or bay
1.In the tree structure, select one or more of the power operation area, station or bay that is surveilled by the user you want to inactivate.
2.Press the button Inactivate other user . The dialog box Inactivate other users from surveillance opens.
3.In the drop-down list, select the user(s) you want to inactivate.
4.Press OK. The name(s) of the inactivated user(s) name is removed from the column Surveillors (users).
