This function allows you to copy sequences of operations from switch orders and operating orders. You can also create and test switching operations directly in the simulation without starting from an existing template.
The simulation allows you to test operations without affecting the current switching state. The dynamic coloring is updated after each simulated operation, and customer consistency is reported for each operation.
You can also work with the Planned time field in the simulation, which can be useful when planning outages. For simulation of existing operations in outages or operating orders, planned time can be entered in the respective operation's attribute form, these times are then brought to the simulation dialog. When adding new operations to a simulation, planned time can be entered when selecting objects in the map or schedule. By default, the Planned time column is not displayed in the simulation dialog, press to select which columns to display.
The function to simulate operations is accessed in two ways:
•Via Operator menu
•Via east panel
1.Select Operator > Simulate operations.... The Simulate operations dialog opens.
1.Select the Outage tab in the south panel and select an outage or an operating order.
2.In the Switch order tab for outages, or Operation rows for operating orders, press Simulate operations . The Simulate Operations dialog opens.
1.Add new operations via Add a new operation .
2.Select the row you want to simulate the operation for and press Execute the next operation .
After the simulation is completed, it is possible to save a simulation from the simulation dialog by pressing Save and to open a previously saved simulation by pressing Open.
