In Operator, notifications are automatically created to alert you to important events in the network. Depending on the settings you have chosen, either the notification dialog will open immediately when such an event occurs, or you will see a number next to the notifications icon in the toolbar indicating the number of notifications.

Notifications are created in the following scenarios:

•When outages are created via:

oFault report

oInfo report

oSCADA

oMeter event

•When outages are updated with:

oPersonal danger

oImportant information

 

Select a notification and press Acknowledge to remove the notification from the list. Press Acknowledge all to remove all notifications from the list.

 

Settings

Select the Settings tab in the notification dialog to choose from the following options:

•Show dialog on new notifications

•Hide dialog when all notifications are acknowledged

•Play sound on new notification

•Always on top
