An application window always contains at least one graphical view. The graphical view is where map data is displayed and where you work to place, edit, and analyze graphical information.
To work effectively with map data, you can navigate the view by zooming, panning, and moving to different parts of the map.
There are several tools to help you manage and customize graphical views:
•Split View – displays multiple views simultaneously by splitting the graphical view into smaller views.
•Delete View – deletes one or more views that you have created.
•Create Overview – creates an overview view that makes it easier to see where on the map you are working.
•Customize View – automatically adjusts the map section in a graphical view, for example, so that the view shows the objects you are editing in the current changeset.
