Snap is used to place objects and components with high precision on the map.
When snapping is used, the object is placed relative to a defined point or geometry rather than exactly where the mouse pointer is located.
1.Begin placing an object or component.
2.Press the middle mouse button or scroll wheel to snap according to the selected snap mode.
3.A snap point is marked with a cross.
4.Confirm the placement by left-clicking.
The available snap modes are controlled via the snapping settings.
For more information, see the Snapping section.
