When you place a busbar in a cable pillar, you can right-click to display a menu with placement and rotation options.
These functions are used to control how the busbar is oriented and positioned on the map, as well as to specify its position using coordinates or geodetic calculations.
Right-Click Options |
Function |
Create Component |
Places the object on the map. You can also create the component by double-clicking. |
Select rotation with the mouse pointer |
Allows you to rotate the object freely with the mouse pointer. |
Snap to right angles |
Helps position the object at 90-degree angles by temporarily locking the rotation as the object approaches a right angle. |
Snap to right angles |
Restricts rotation so that the object can only be positioned at 90-degree angles. |
Rotation Relative to Nearest Object |
Rotates the object relative to nearby objects on the map. |
Enter Coordinates |
Opens a dialog box where you can specify the coordinate system and coordinate values. For a busbar, exactly two positions must be specified. |
Place relative to |
Places the object relative to another object on the map. For more information, see the section Placing objects relative to other objects. |
Geodesy |
Opens tools for geodetic calculations of placement positions. For more information, see the section Geodesy. |
For information on coordinate-based placement, see the section Placing objects using coordinates.
