After you select a map product in the Map window, you may temporarily control what kind of map data that is shown and how the map data looks in the graphical view. You can choose to show or hide one or several product classes, object types and selected components. You can also temporarily adjust the appearance of individual graphical components such as their color, size or other drawing attributes in the map.

Any adjustments of map data in the Map window are only active during the current session - permanent adjustments of the contents and appearance of map products are carried out in the Drawing attributes administration Tool and require special system administration rights.

Show and hide map data

The options for controlling the display of map data is accessible by right-clicking on individual or groups of product classes, object types, or graphic components in the tree view in the Map tab. To select more items in the tree view, use the Shift and Ctrl keys. You can choose to show, hide components or to show them within a predefined zoom interval -  the scale dependent interval.

Use the filter field to find map graphics, components, of a specific type. Example: type the text "road" to display where, marked yellow, in the map tree the "road" exists.

Olive colored product classes, object types, or graphic components in the tree view in the Map tab means they are empty of content.
