Roles

ANNOUNCEMENT_USER - Gives the ability to send an announcement.

ANNOUNCEMENT_ADMIN - Gives the ability to add and/or edit announcements.

 

Products

At least one of:

•dpGas

•dpHeating

•dpPower

•dpWater

 

Modules

•Operator (only needed to send announcements in connection with outages).

 

Data

•Contact information of recipients stored in dpSpatial:

oFirst and last name

oMailing address

oEmail address

oMobile phone number

•Current network documentation and updated operational status to ensure the correct customers are found.

 

Further requirements

•Email: Email server integrated with dpSpatial

•SMS: Integration with an SMS service provider. Separate ordering is required for integration with the SMS service provider for SMS dispatch.

 

Access to functions related to the Announcement

The functions related to the Announcement can be activated as follows:

•In the menu bar, select Tools > Announcement.

•In the menu bar, select Operator > Show/Hide Operator.

•In the toolbar, select Query Tool, select Reports.
