The line segment automatically stops at an intersecting line segment. If you wish to extend or shorten the line segment to this point, use the left mouse button to confirm. To disable that the function automatically stops, press and hold down the button Ctrl when using the function. |
Extend vertex
1.Select Edit > Component > Extend vertex or use the tool button 
.
2.Click nearby the line segment that you wish to extend or shorten. The selected component will be highlighted. The line shortens or extends continuously depending on how you move the marker in the map.
3.Move the marker to the desired location and then press the left mouse button to confirm or use the right mouse button to cancel.
