DXF/DWG...

A common use for DXF files is as background data in applications such as dpPower, dpCom, and dpHeating. DXF files can serve as a base map and provide support in documentation and planning of the business. You can also import DXF data as object types other than background data. It is also possible to add the original file name to attributes even though it is a network object to be imported at a DXF import.

There is currently no tool in the application to delete DXF data imported as background data. The data that forms the basis for background maps is often extensive and requires a very large number of mappings, and due to high demands on quality and timeliness, Digpro is helpful for processing, mapping DXF data and updating the customer's background data.

When importing DXF files in dpPower , you must have access to a so-called mapping file. A mapping file is a file containing information on how to translate data in a DXF file into data in dpPower.

Select the check box if the contents of the DXF file have been mapped as a background map. Imports will then be carried out much faster. The setting is saved until the next time you open the Import tool.
