It is possible to control how announcements are sent on a per-recipient basis.

These settings make it possible to exclude a recipient from specific announcement channels.

The settings are available as Yes/No fields on the following objects:

•Customer

•Contact person

•Subscription

•Customer facility

The following channels can be controlled:

•Mail

•SMS

•Email

•REST

•XML (legacy)

If a channel is set to No, the recipient is not included in the dispatch for that channel.

 

The settings are typically managed in the customer information system and imported via the daily import.

The Digpro system is not the master for this information.

If the customer system does not support these settings, Digpro can assist in setting up a preprocessor that automatically assigns values based on available data, for example:

•If a Mobile phone number exists - set Mail announcement to No

 

The settings can also be specified manually in the attribute forms for each object (Customer, Contact person, Subscription, and Customer facility). However, if the fields are mapped in the customer import, any manual changes will be overwritten during the next import.

Manual handling of these settings is therefore mainly relevant if the customer system lacks these values and when adjustments are needed for specific objects.
