This tool generates easement objects for selected routes when they overlap certain types of property polygons. An easement object will be created each time one of the selected routes intersects with the defined property polygons.

The tool supports three graphical representation options for the easement object:

•A line over the part of the route within the property.

•A polygon forming a buffer zone around the part of the route within the property.

•A polygon overlapping the entire property polygon.

The configuration can be set up to handle any combination of these options and allows for different settings for various types of properties. For example, use a line or buffer zone for a public park and the entire polygon for the property of an SDU (Service Delivery Unit).

The configuration also defines the properties, including the subtype, of the generated easement object.
