Connect fiber/thread/carriers in nodes

This function allows you to connect fibers in nodes automatically, providing that there is a connection between one equipment and one cable in each node by placing a polygon around the node(s) where fibers are to be connected.

The function can be used on for example ODF-connectors, Switch ports, Converter contact and Active equipment.

Connection rules: that there is only one equipment in each node, that there is only one cable connected to that equipment and the function will terminate the fibers in the cable in the equipment.

1.Start the operation through Autogeneration > Connect fibers in nodes.

2.Place a polygon around the node(s) where the fibers are to be connected and the following dialogue opens:

3.Select how many fibers are to be connected to the ODF by selecting One fiber, One fiber-pair, or As many as possible

4.Press OK to confirm or the Cancel button to cancel the operation.

5.In the status bar at the bottom, information is displayed on the number of objects that were connected.
