Outages

 

In dpCom it is possible to create planned and unplanned outages and operating orders. The type of the outage is, for example, used to get correct outage statistics. In dpCom current outages are shown in a list with the possibility to filter.

Select an outage in the list and the east panel opens with detailed information about the outage. If you double-click an outage, the map will simultaneously zoom in on the current object. If the object is not in the active view, the views in which the object is displayed are listed.

 

Refresh outage list

The outage list is automatically updated after changes. It can also be manually updated with the Search button.

 

Fields in the outage table

The columns that is shown in the list and the order of these are configurable.

 

Type

Shows if the outage is an Unplanned outage, Planned outage or an Operating order

Outage-ID

The unique ID of the outage

Address

The address of the location of the outage

Status

Shows the outage status: Verified, Not verified, Fixed, Ended or Invalid

Date occurred and

Date reconnected

The actual times of the outage

Planned disconnection date and

Planned reconnection date

The latest estimated time for disconnection and reconnection

Number of customers still disconnected

The number of customers without delivery

Announced

Shows if stake holders,such as customers, have been notified about the outage

 

Filtering outages

Using the drop-down lists and search fields above the outage table the outages can be filtered based on the columns in the outage table.

 

Link outages to a new or existing task

You can link an outage directly to a task in Organizer without having to switch views.

The task is added to the outage’s Linked tasks tab in the east panel, and the outage is added to the task’s Linked objects tab in the east panel.

 

Link to existing task:

1.Right-click on a row in the south panel and select Organizer > Link to existing task.

2.Enter the desired search parameters and press Search.

3.Select the task you want to link to and press OK.

 

Link to new task:

1.Right-click on a row in the south panel and select Organizer > and select:

oCreate task from template - A list of the task templates that use the Template type - Operator is displayed.

a.Select the desired template and press Create. The task opens in a separate window.

b.Press OK to save the task.

oCreate task/project - Create a task based on any task template.

a.Enter the desired settings for the task and press Create.
