The function places a graphic component for a parent object, even if the parent object does not have any components in the graphic. This is done by referencing any object that belongs to the parent object.

Examples of these include cable pillars and stations—that is, container objects.

Place component for parent object

1.Select Place > Component > For parent object.

2.Select an object in the graphical view. A list opens.

3.Select the component type.

4.Place the component.
