For object

The function places a component to an existing object in one of the available map types. The set of available components depends on the selected object type.

Place component for object

1.Select Place > Component > For object.

2.Right-click and select objects to create a component for. A right-click menu opens with a list of the various components that can be placed to the object type in the various map types.

3.Select a component from the list. The selected component type is now displayed next to the mouse arrow.

4.Place the component next to the object.

When placing, right-click to open the right-click menu, which provides a list of placement options.

When selecting a graphical view in which the component cannot be placed, the symbol (one-way sign) is displayed at the mouse cursor. The message "Wrong map product" appears in the status bar.

If the symbol (warning sign) is displayed, it is because that component cannot be displayed in the current scale. Zoom in (for example by rolling the mouse wheel forward) in the graphics view and the component will be displayed.
