Set dates before posting...

Area of use

To facilitate date setting with Net regulation, you can use the function Set dates before posting. The function is based on state changes and can be configured to meet the individual requirements that can emerge.

Prerequisites

The description below will not consider any customizations, instead the description is based on the default configuration that comes with dpPower. Contact your customer manager or Digpro support for more information about a customized configuration.

The function automatically sets attributes for objects in a changeset and the default configuration does the following:

When changing the state from 0, 100 (Planned, Designed) to 900 (Built, not in use), the installed year is set to the desired year (date) when you run the function. As default, the date of today is set.

When changing the state from 0, 100, 900 (Planned, Designed, Built, not in use) to 200 (In use), the Operational date is set to the desired date. The Regulatory date is set to the desired date and the Capital base date is set to the desired date when you run the function. As default, the date of today is set.

When changing the state from 200, 300, 400, 450, 500 (In use-states) to 700 (Out of operation), the disconnected date is set to the desired date. As default, the date of today is set.

When changing the state from 200, 300, 400, 450, 500 (In use-states) to 600, 650, 700 (Destroyed, Discarded, Out of operation), the disconnected date and the discarded date is set to the desired date. As default, the date of today is set.

These fields will only be set if they are empty to begin with. The fields will not be overwritten when changing the state if they already have values.

1.Select File > Set dates before posting... The dialog box Set dates before posting opens.

2.Enter the date if desired by pressing the calendar icon or press OK to confirm the current date.

3.Depending on how many objects will be updated, a progress report will be given every 100 objects that are processed in the changeset and gives rise to information that x objects have been processed. When the function is complete, the Date window before posting result window opens, which is divided according to the four points above, ie. Installed, In use, Out of operation and Discarded. The results window shows how many objects have been updated and with what has been updated. The changes will be listed in the New, changed or deleted objects window in the changeset under File > Show changes.

4.Post the changes for the new date setting to be added to the database.
