<< Click to Display Table of Contents >> Result presentation |
There are three options for presentation of the result:
1.Graphically and in the form of tables
2.In a report
3.In a schematic presentation
The Results/Administration dialog is displayed when a calculation has been made, with a list of previous calculations and the most recent calculation at the top. The dialog can also be retrieved under Analyzer > Results/Administration.
Every performed calculation is saved together with used start parameters in a result archive. From this archive, a number of functions can be found by selecting a calculation and using right-click.
Show result in map |
Starts the presentation of the result in a map, with the possibility for a thematic coloring of the network, together with an alphanumeric presentation in the form of tables or result forms for each object. Networks not included in the calculation are grayed out. |
Show result table |
Starts the result table that has been configured for the current result presentation without starting the graphical view with the thematic coloring. |
Compare calculations |
Requires a selection of two results containing the same network but with different conditions. It is possible to compare them term by term. |
Show report |
Starts a report function that can present a number of predefined reports, where the number of reports and their layout can be different from release to release and customized. |
Show extra report |
Is used for different special presentations and is described in a separate section. |
Show changeset information |
Is used to show unposted changes that have been made in the current changeset. |
Change description |
Change or edit the calculation description. |
Delete calculations |
Gives the opportunity to erase one or several results at a time. |
The result can be stored in 4 different ways:
1.The tab Calculations will be the default location as soon as a calculation has been carried out.
2.The tab Protected calculations is used when a number of good calculation results are found in the list and you do not want them to be erased by mistake. They can be moved to a safer storage, Protected calculations. The calculations can only be erased if they are moved to either calculations or archive.
3.The tab Reference calculations should only contain calculations that reflects the current documentation status and load levels. Only one version of every network should exist. If changes are made in the network, all networks affected by the change should be moved from Reference calculations and be replaced by new results. Reference calculations can be used for network calculations when a number of results has been created that should be used as base for other network calculations. For instance these results can store a medium voltage calculation for a primary substation. The result of these calculations can then be utilized as a base for LV calculations on secondary substation fed by the primary substations. Calculation parameters used in this case can be feeding voltage, short circuit values or impedances. Also the predefined right-click calculation will use the results from a reference calculation as start values. The purpose of the reference calculations are hence mainly to support “good” start values for network parts that are calculated. The button Fetch start values from reference in the calculation form will use these values.
4.The tab Archive is used when there are results that are not to be used for some time but not necessarily need to be deleted, and therefore moved to the archive. This is where all results normally should end up unless the calculation is new and will be studied in a near future.
When a calculation is done you can find it under the tab Calculations where it will end up automatically. Select the wanted calculation in the list and press the button Move to... to move the calculation to a different tab.
To regularly free up space in the database, automatic archiving and deletion of calculations can be set up as scheduled jobs. Then calculations are moved from the Calculations tab to the Archive tab after a specified period. From there, the calculations are deleted after another specified period.
