Replace cable pillar can be used during the documentation work as existing cable pillars are in practice replaced with new ones. The tool moves a new cable pillar and its contents to the same location as the cable pillar that is going to be replaced.

The new cable pillar is connected to the existing network. The cables that were connected to the cable pillar and are to be replaced are moved to the new cable pillar. New groups are connected to a cable that was previously connected to a group at the corresponding place in the cable pillar that is going to be replaced. feeder cable / service cable and the joints in stage Planned that was created for the new cable pillar with the function Place new cable pillar are deleted.

The state of the new cable pillar and its components is changed to In use. The state of the replaced cable pillar and its components is changed to Destroyed.

A "Nuak link" is also created between the replaced cable pillar and the new one.

 

1.Choose Tools > Replace cable pillar > Replace cable pillar.

2.Select the cable pillar to be replaced with a new one.

3.Select the new cable pillar.
