Project structure

A project in Designer is made of a number of objects, where a project itself is an overall object. Every Designer object has different properties and possibilities.

 

Set state filter  

When objects are retrieved from the map or schema to a calculation or package, you can control what states that should be retrieved. This setting has nothing to do with what states that are visible in the map.

1.In the menu bar, select Organizer > Set state filter....

2.Select what state to use when retrieving costs and articles from the map/schema. The setting is valid for all tasks/projects and is personal.

 

 

The object Storage

Every task can have one or more storages connected to it. A storage is a place to which material should be delivered. A Storage can have a graphical component and be placed in the map.

1.Select a task in the south panel.

2.In the east panel, select the Storages tab.

3.Use the tool icons to manage storages.

 

 

 

The object Package

For every storage, one or several packages can be created. In a package, articles belonging to the same construction are gathered,for example a cable pillar or pole. Orders can be created per package or for an entire storage.

1.In the east panel, the Storages tab, select a storage.

2.Create a new package by pressing the icon .

 

Articles

1.In the east panel, the Storages tab, select a package.

2.Select the Article register tab.

3.Press the Article catalog button.

4.Select the Search article tab and search for an article.

5.Double-click on a row. The article is added to the list for the object package.

For the Price to be set for the article, you must enter a Supplier with registered prices:

1.Right-click on an article row and select Set supplier.

 

The object Calculation

It is possible to create one Main calculation and one or several Alternative calculations. At any time it is possible to change an alternative calculation to a main calculation. There is only one main calculation allowed per task.

1.Select a task in the south panel.

2.In the east panel, select the Calculations tab.

3.Use the tool icons to manage calculations.

 

The main calculation is the one used in reports and follow ups.

The Designer supports EBR's cost catalogs or other cost catalogs.

The codes can be divided into three different calculation sheets, where you can edit your calculations.
