Publish outages in Outage Map

You can publish outages for Previously affected customers, Currently affected customers and Future affected customers.

1.In the east panel of an outage, Outage Map section, check the Published box.

In order to publish planned outages with future affected customers, Planned start time and Planned end time must be filled in.

Outages for previously affected customers are displayed for 24 hours. The time can be changed via configuration of Digpro.

Outages can be published automatically in Outage Map, without having to manually check the Published box. This is useful for example for integrations like SCADA, where meter alarms can create outages automatically.

1.In the menu bar, select Operator > Operator preferences.

2.Select the Shared preferences tab > Auto-publish.

3.Check Auto-publish outage and press OK.

External note

The External note field  can be used to link text messages with specific outages. The text will be displayed in Outage Map in the outage information box.

1.To use template texts, right-click in the text field and select Use template.

Send direct link to outage

You can include the outage ID to send a direct link to the outage to affected customers.

1.Open Outage Map and copy the URL.

2.Paste the URL in the desired announcement.

See section Core announcement and its subsections for instructions on sending announcements.

3.Add the substitution variable $OUTAGE_ID_PUBLISHED. This variable is replaced with the ID of the selected outage.
