<< Click to Display Table of Contents >> dpPower > Menu reference > File > Reference data > Open reference file... |
•The contents of the reference file are displayed in active view.
•A bookmark with the file name is created in the bookmarks list (Window > Bookmarks). Use this bookmark to navigate to the area of the reference file.
•The file name is added to the list of loaded files in the Handle attached reference files window, see section Handle attached reference files....
•A temporary product class with the file name is created in the current map product (Map tab in the sidebar). Right-click on the file name to manage the reference file.
•If you have added two different reference files with the same name, you can hover over each reference file in the sidebar to see the files location in the tooltip.
•You can cancel the file loading at any time using the Cancel key or the ESC key on the keyboard. If several files are loaded, these must be canceled individually per file. •Information about which reference files have been loaded is saved in the current changeset. The information is retained in the change set when you send it to another user, who can then continue working with the same reference files. |
For geopackage it is possible to select multiple reference files. If you select more than one file, a drop-down menu is created that displays each of the files. Selecting a file from the drop-down menu displays the settings for that file. |
1.Select File > Reference data > Open reference file....
The reference file can also be opened by dragging and dropping it in the active view. |
2.Select the file to open.
3.Select desired options in the dialog box.
4.Press Open. The file is being loaded.
When a DXF or DWG file is opened as a reference file, all lines are initially set to a thickness of 1 pixel. The line thickness can be changed manually: 1.In the Map tab in the sidebar, right-click the reference file and select Show/Change drawing attributes. The selected settings will be saved and applied at the next start-up of the client. |
•Files of type - Field to specify reference data of unclear type, for example .txt files. Select the file type of the import from the list.
•From - Here it is important that the correct coordinate system is selected, otherwise, the loaded data ends up incorrectly in the map. SWEREF99 TM is all of Sweden, the others are adapted for a certain longitude degrees from greenwich.
•Fit view to file - Check to pan in to the data when you open the reference file. Is checked by default.
•Colored layer (For Geopackage) - Check the box to give all types of lines and polygons different colors.
See section Vector format and Raster format for information on supported file formats.
