Meter events

Events from meters, such as de-energization or neutral faults, can be seen in both the south and east panel. The south panel contains information about all events that have been received.

1.In the menu bar, select Operator > Show/Hide Operator. The south panel opens.

2.In the south panel, select the Meter events tab.
This tab contains information about events such as:

Meter ID, Delivery point, Cable pillar, Secondary substation - The place of the event described by the objects related to the event.

Status - The event status can be one of the following:

oReceived - The application has received the event.

oTransmission elapsed - The application received the event but the difference between the timestamps Occurred (at meter) and Received (in dpSpatial)  was too large.

oExisting outage - The event is linked to an existing outage.

oTolerance failed - An attempt was made to create an outage but the criteria were not met. Typically due to too few delivery points sending events.

oFound no fault device - Found no fault device (switch) to connect the outage to.

oOutage created - The event has created a new or been linked to an existing outage.

oOutage fixed - The event has resolved an outage.

oUnreasonable time - The time for the event is unreasonable, typically set to the future. This should not be possible unless clocks are out of sync.

oBlocked - The creation of outages from the specific meter is disabled.

oOutage creation disabled - The creation of outages from meter events is disabled under Operator preferences.

Event code - Information about the event type. See the table in Meter alarm types, end device events.

Phase - The given phase, L1, L2 or L3, if it relates to the event.

Outage - A link to outage ID, empty if not connected to an outage.

Occurred - Date and time when events happened.

Received - When the event is received in the application.

Modified - When something last has been modified in the event.

Processed - Empty until the event has been processed.
