The quick view window can be configured to display appropriate attributes and functions for the selected object type. After this configuration, the quick view window can be used to easily view these attributes and access these functions.

To configure the quick view window, the role MANAGE_QUICK_VIEW is required. See section Administrate quick view. |
1.Select Tools > Quick view (Ctrl-F3). The Quick view window opens.
2.Select an object in the map. A selection of the object's attributes is displayed in the Quick view window. Depending on how the quick view window has been configured for the selected object type, there may also be selected functions that you can access from this window.
3.To open the attribute window and view the object's complete attributes, press 
. If documents are linked to the object, this is shown in brackets next to the attribute icon.
4.If you want the Quick view window to open automatically when the application starts, press 
and check the Open when starting application option.

The text in the Quick view window, section Attributes, is selectable, allowing you to highlight it and copy it as needed. 1.Double-click the text and press Ctrl + C on the keyboard to copy it. |

You can make the setting to open the Quick view dialog at application startup via Preferences: 1.In the menu bar, select Settings > Preferences.... A dialog opens. 2.In the Basic tab, under section Other, check the box Show Quick view on startup. |
