Map templates allow you to save and reuse map settings, such as which product classes, object types, and graphical components should be displayed in the map tree.
Unlike saved window settings, which apply only to a specific changeset, map templates can be used in multiple applications and changesets by the user who created the template.
Map templates are grouped under the map product on which they are based and sorted in alphabetical order. If there are many map templates, they can be divided into subgroups.

You can also save a map template without first changing the map settings. Such a template can, for example, be added to Favorites and used to quickly restore the map to its default settings. |
