Once you have selected a map product, you can temporarily control what is displayed and how the map data appears in the graphical view. You can choose to show or hide one or more product classes, feature types, and selected graphical components. You can also temporarily customize the appearance of individual graphical components, such as their color, size, or other drawing attributes on the map.

Customizations of map data in the Map window apply only to your own client during the current work session—permanent customizations of the map products content and appearance are performed in the Drawing attributes tool and require special administrative privileges. |
