With this function several attributes of different objects can be updated with one command. The attributes that you can update are for example: Installed year, Accuracy, Capital base date, Discarded date, Regulatory date, Calculation method, Operational date, Manufactured date.
The collection of objects that can be edited are those that are selected, highlighted, traced (saved tracing), or objects in the changeset.

Before opening the tool, make sure that the objects to be processed are selected in one of the above ways. |
1.Select Tools > Mass attribute update.... A dialog box opens.
2.In Field, select which value is to be updated.
3.In New value, enter the new value to be assigned to the objects.
4.Select the Only update blank fields check box if only empty fields are to be updated.
5.Decide how the objects should be selected:
oCurrently selected
oCurrently highlighted
oIn saved object list
oAll objects in changeset.
6.Press OK to implement the change. An update report is displayed.
7.Press Details to view details of what was updated, shown here:
