It is possible to send a request to change the switch mode of a meter. The switch can be opened or closed. Closing the switch can be done as a soft or hard switch. A soft switch activates the meter's physical switch, while a hard switch both activates the switch and immediately turns it on.

The switch position is shown as:

•Closed

•Open

It is only possible to have one dialog open at a time.

The options displayed in the dialog depend on the user's roles:

•METER_SWITCH_OPEN - Allows the switch to be opened (disconnect).

•METER_SWITCH_CLOSE_SOFT - Displays soft close options when the switch is open.

•METER_SWITCH_CLOSE_HARD - Displays options to force closing. Also includes soft closing functionality.

 

1.Do the steps under Access to Meter integration functions.

2.Select Maneuver circuit breaker.

3.Select the maneuver you want to perform. The available options depend on the current state of the switch (open or closed).
