You can configure an inspection round so that a new inspection task and a new round are created automatically when the current task is closed. The new round is created only if the system finds at least one inspection that can be linked to it.
You need the Maintainer_AUTOCREATE_ROUND role to change this setting |
1.Open the inspection round.
2.Select an option under Automatically create next round type:
oSaved searches – uses the round’s shared reports to retrieve the inspections.
oPrevious round —uses incomplete inspections from the inspection plans linked to the round.
oAll – combines split reports and inspection plans from the previous round.
3.Save the change.
4.Close the inspection task when work on the round is complete. The new task and the new round will be created during the next scheduled run.
Once the next round has been created, the result is displayed in the Automatically Created Date and Automatically Created task fields on the old round.
You need the FPPADMIN role to save split reports. |
1.Open the inspection round and select Add Inspections.
2.Select a report and specify the parameters to be used when the report runs automatically.
3.Click Save. The Save Report dialog box opens.
4.Enter the Report Name and click Save. The report appears under Shared Reports.
5.Repeat these steps if the next round is to be based on multiple reports.
The shared reports are run using the saved parameters when the next inspection round is created. The reports are also copied to the new inspection round.
The Within Saved Object List parameter cannot be used in a shared report of the Inspection Planning type. The parameter is user- and session-specific and is therefore disabled when the report runs automatically. A shared report must have a unique name within the round.
