Measures the length of a line segment in the graphical view. For a line segment, the length is displayed. The length is calculated both with and without the elevation of the line (Z-coordinates). The result is shown as Length with height and Length in plane.
1.Choose Tools > Measure > Line segment.
2.Select a line segment in the graphical view. The line segment is highlighted and the Segment measuring dialog shows the length of the line segment.

Highlight selected components |
Shows which components are selected in the map. |
OK |
Closes the dialog box. |
Clear |
Clears the last measurement result in the dialog box. |
Measure |
Used when another function has been activated, but the measurement window is still open to start the tool again smoothly. |
