Measures the total distance between self-defined points in the graphical view as well as the distance between the last placed point and the position of the mouse arrow. The bearing (in compass degrees) of the last segment is also shown.

Measure distance and bearing

1.Select Tools > Measure > Distance and Bearing (Ctrl-M).

2.Click in the map to place start points and vertices. In the status bar, the total length from the starting point to the position of the mouse arrow, the length between the last placed point and the position of the mouse arrow and the bearing of the last segment (in compass degrees) are continuously displayed. Cancel the measurement by right-clicking.
