Imports a semicolon separated codelist.

1.Select Administration > Codelists > Import codelists....

2.Select a file you want to import and press Open.

3.Select a codelist and press Import. New values in the imported codelist is loaded to the systems existing code list. The codelist values that already exists in the system is not imported.

 

Handling of CODENUM during import

When you import a code list, the system tries to keep the codenum values contained in the import file. The result depends on the situation:

•If the codenum is free in the target database, the row is imported and retains the same codenum as in the file.

•If the codenum already exists and the row is identical, it is not imported but skipped so that no duplicates are created.

•If the codenum already exists but some other column is different, the import is blocked.

•If the codenum is missing in the file, the system automatically generates a new free codenum.
