Exports a copy of a selected product class from any of the application's products. The export file generated is an SQL file, which can be imported into another database using a 3rd party SQL tool. The export of a product class contains:
•The product class ID (optional)
•All member components, with their default drawing attributes, as the drawing attributes are always linked to the product.
1.Select Administration > Map product > Export product class. A dialog opens.
The product classes are grouped into those that are in your active product or all that can be managed in the application. They are listed in alphabetical order but you can filter by both name and number. |
2.Select one or more product classes and press OK.
3.Select the destination folder and enter a file name. The default name is the product class ID number.
4.Select Character set.
ISO-8859-1 retains special characters such as å, ä and ö. |
5.Press Save.
