Exports a copy of a selected product class from any of the products in the applications. The export file is generated as a SQL file, which may be imported to additional databases using  third party SQL tools. The export of a product class contains the following:

• The ID of the product class (optional)

•All member components (with their standard attributes, since the drawing attributes is always connected to the product)

Export product class

1.Select Administration > Map product > Export product class...

2.Select product class or product classes in the tree view Product classes in current product or in All product classes. It is also possible to filter on all the product classes by using the Filter field in order to limit the search result for the product classes.

3.Click OK.

4.Select map file and enter a file name. Default file name is the ID number for the product class.

5.Select which Character set. ISO-8859-1 or UTF-8,  that should be used in the export.

6.Click on Save to save the export file to a target folder.
