Converts coordinates between different coordinate systems. The coordinates are taken from the graphical view. The calculated coordinates can be copied.

Transform coordinates - single point

1.Choose Tools > Coordinate transformation > Single point... A dialog opens.

2.Enter the coordinate values you want to convert in the North and East text boxes, or click the Pick button to retrieve coordinate values from a position by clicking in the map.

3.In the upper drop-down list, specify the coordinate system in which the coordinate values lie.

4.In the lower drop-down list, specify the coordinate system to which the coordinate values should be converted.

5.Click the Calculate button. The results of the conversion are printed under the respective North and East coordinates. It is possible to copy the calculated coordinates: highlight the coordinate value, select Ctrl-C, and paste the value into any text editor.

6.Click Show to display the position of the coordinate value in the map.
