Create work area

The creation of a Work area is automatically posted and also linked to the changeset that created it. The deletion of a Work area is also automatically posted.

For detailed description of how to place objects and components, see section Place objects and components.

1.Open the sidebar.

2.Select the Place object tab.

3.Select Miscellaneous > Info object > Work area.

4.Select which state the object should be placed in and press the Place Object button.

5.Fill in relevant information in the attribute form that opens and press the OK button.

6.Create a polygon in the map that will correspond to the work area, double-click or right-click and select Create component to place the area in the map.

By selecting the newly placed area and right-click, it is possible to, for example, Place component for object, Show/change attributes, Change state and so on.

Link work area to current changeset and Open linked changeset

With the function Link work area to current changeset it is possible to link an already existing work area to the current changeset, that is, the changeset you are currently logged in to. Since the object Work area is automatically posted you can use this function to link a work area that is already linked to another changeset, to the current changeset. The work area's link to the first changeset is then removed.

The function Open linked changeset open the changeset that the work area is linked to, if the work area is linked to a different changeset than the current changeset.
