Use the tool Copy map area to clipboard to copy an area of the graphical view to the (Windows) clipboard. You can then paste the copied area into another program, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, or Paint.Net.

Not all programs have full support for this kind of clipboard handling. In the Open Office software suite, it may be necessary to use the Paste Special tool, and select the Bitmap format to maintain a good quality of the copied image. |
1.Select Edit > Copy map area to clipboard to activate the tool.
2.Select and drag the cursor in the graphical view to define the area you want to copy.
3.In Microsoft Word (or any similar program), press Ctrl + V to paste the clipboard.
