The objects that have the traditional inspection plans are easiest found by using the report Inspection plans without template in the Query Tool.

Select the object type that should be converted. It is possible to limit the search with different parameters such as Within area.
When the search for the objects that should be converted is completed, select the objects that are relevant, right-click and select Convert inspection plan(s).
Conversion form
The dialog, Conversion of inspection plans, is divided in different sections.
In the upper left section the categories and inspection plan templates that are set for the object are displayed. If any of the templates are selected, the upper right section displays how the template would look.
The middle section has the following options:
•The inspection type that the performed inspections for the object should adopt.
•The manner in which the next inspection should be scheduled after - the planned date or the date on which the inspection was performed.
•Selection what date the next planned inspection should be based on - the latest performed inspection or the next planned inspection.
In the lower section, the inspection plans that you wish to convert are displayed.
By selecting one of the chosen plans, it is possible to get a preview on how the template would set for the object.
The preview only works for one inspection plan at the time.
If the preview is positive and you wish to convert the plans, it is possible to select several rows in the lower section and press the button Convert.
The objects are assigned with the template that is chosen and disappears from the list with obects that previously had an inspection plan according to the traditional inspection plan.
There is also a possibility to jump in the template for a forthcoming inspection that should be performed. This is done by selecting the planned inspection in the template, right-click and select Set planned inspection...
The planned inspection is the inspection type that has been chosen with the same date as the previously planned inspection.
Now it is possible to convert the inspection plan. If you choose to jump in the template, as described above, it is only possible to convert one inspection plan at a time.
The converted inspection plan is found in the current changeset.
It is possible, as mentioned above, to convert several planes at the same time.
During the conversion each and every one of the plans are validated to confirm that the conversion has succeeded. If the validation of a plan should fail, you will receive a message. The possibility to proceed with the conversion for the plans where the validation succeeded will be given.
If you have chosen to only convert one plan and the validation fails, you will receive a message about that as well.
