You can change the plan template for objects that have an inspection plan with a plan template.

The date of the next inspection according to the previous plan template is replaced after the change with a new date according to the new plan template. The date of the new inspection is calculated based on the date in the replaced plan template. (You can also enter a date manually).

Example: If the date of the next inspection according to the previous plan template was in five years time, and the inspection interval according to the new plan template is four years, the inspection is brought forward by one year.

The date of the next inspection according to the new plan template calculated on the basis of the date of an inspection made according to the replaced plan template may sometimes have already been passed. In these cases, the date of the replaced plan template for the next planned inspection is used as a starting point for calculating the date of the next inspection according to the new plan template.

Example: The replaced plan template has a five-year inspection interval. The last inspection was made on 2016-01-15. In August 2020, that planning template is replaced by a planning template with a three-year inspection interval. The date for the next inspection according to the new plan template would then be 2019-01-15 calculated based on the date of the most recent inspection. Since this date has passed, the date of the replaced plan template for the next inspection is also used for the first inspection according to the new plan template, that is, 2021-01-15. Dates for subsequent inspections will be 2024-01-15, 2027-01-15 and so on.

 

1.Select one or several objects to change the plan template for in one of the following ways:

▪In the map view, see section Select objects in the map view 

▪In reports from the Query Tool, see the section Select objects in reports in the Query tool

2.Select the inspection plan or the objects in the table whose plan template you want to change, right-click and select Change plan template. The dialog box Change plan to another template opens.

3.Select or enter the date for when you want the new plan template to take effect in the field Start date.

4.Select the date from which the next inspection date is to be calculated:

▪Planned date for the next inspection

▪Actual date, that is, the date when the inspection was made

5.Search and select a plan template in the plan template category you want to change to.

6.Press OK.The new plan template is displayed at the top under the tab Inspection with plan template in the object's attribute form. It has the status Ongoing. The replaced plan template is shown below the new one. It has status 0.

 

Select objects in the map view

1.Select an object with an inspection plan with a plan template in the map view.

2.Open the attribute form by right-clicking and selecting View/change attributes. The attribute form opens.

3.Select the tab Inspection using templates. One or more inspection plans are displayed at the top of the attribute form.

 

Select objects in report in the Query tool

1.Select Query tool > Reports > Inspection.

2.Select one of the following:

▪Inspection planning > Object type

▪Statistic reports > Inspection planning > All inspections or > Inspection ([Object type])

3.Refine your search by using the parameters in the lower left part of the sidebar.

4.Press Search. The search result is displayed in a table to the right.
