User interface

Start Organizer:

1.In the menu bar, select Organizer > Show/Hide Organizer or Ctrl-R. The south panel opens.

 

Change the size of the south and east panels by using the black arrows at the edges of the panels or by grabbing the edge and dragging.

The South panel

In the south panel, your current tasks are displayed under the Tasks tab:

Double-click on a task to center the map around the task area, if one has been assigned.

Select which columns to display via the button on the far right of the header row. If you want to show more columns than can fit on the screen, you can check Horizontal scroll.

 

In each tab of the south panel you can:

Select a row in the list to view more information in the east panel.

Search using a variety of filters.

Press Select search criteria to choose which filters are visible.

Each column has a built-in filter function. Right-click on the column header and select the values you want to filter on. You can filter on several columns at once. Note that set filtering disappears when you press the Search button.

Save and reuse searches to avoid setting filters each time:

a.Set the filters you want to use in your search.

b.Press and select Save search.

c.Fill in Name and press Save.

Once you have saved searches, you can press and select:

oSaved searches - Select from previously saved searches. When you select a saved search, the search will run automatically.

oManage saved searches - Rename or delete previously saved searches.

 

In the Workflow tab, you can search for different workflow items in the Type field. This can be used, for example, to specifically search for workflow items that are part of processes created in WorkflowStudio.

 

The East panel

When a task has been selected in the south panel, the details will be shown in the east panel and several other functions will then be available through different tabs.

 

Decide which tabs should be visible in the east panel

1.In the east panel, press the icon with three dots .

2.Check the tabs you want to be visible and select Save.

3.In the drop-down menu, check for which task types the tab settings should apply.

4.Press OK.

Users with the DSG_ADMIN role can save common settings that apply to all users, see section Decide which tabs should be visible in the east panel for all users.

A star (*) next to the icon with three dots indicates that there are hidden tabs.

 

Administration

Under the Organizer menu, there is also Show/Hide administration selectable for users with administrator rights.

 

Organizer preferences

1.In the menu bar, select Organizer > Organizer preferences. A dialog opens.

2.In the Basic tab, you can decide how you want the south and east panels to open:

oDocked in the main window

oTogether in a separate window

oSplit into two separate windows

3.To have the workflow visible regardless of which tab of the east panel you have open, check the Pin workflow to task form box.
