Access to MyOrganizer

MyOrganizer can be described as a light version of Organizer. It is basically the same application but has a simpler (and cleaner) user interface. MyOrganizer's user interface focus directly on the logged-in users assigned activities and decision points.

MyOrganizer is included in the license for Organizer and demands no additional licensing. However, it needs to be activated in the organization’s environment, which is done by Digpro's support team on demand. In order for a user to access MyOrganizer, the following roles need to be assigned to the user account.

 

Role

Description

DSG_USER

Basic role which all Organizer-users must have. The Organizer pull-down menu is exposed in dpSpatials upper function bar.

DSG_MYORGANIZER_USER

 

Makes it possible for the user to activate MyOrganizer in the user interface and open it in the south panel.

Users having only this role will not be able to view and edit tasks by selecting their related symbols in the map and right-click to open them.

It is possible to combine the roles for Organizer and MyOrganizer. This is useful when a user want to work in a simpler user interface like MyOrganizer, but sometimes needs to be able to create new tasks, open tasks from the map or view tasks in WorkPlanner.
