The tracing is started from a multiduct and the result is that all multiducts (including the selected one) that have a "midspan connection" to the selected multiduct are highlighted in the map. The trace also includes overlaying objects such as pipes and lines.
Definition of "midspan" (simple)
Multiduct level:
md1 <ends in node> node <ends in node> md2
Duct level:
At least one duct satisfies the connection:
oo-linked to both multiducts ie. the duct passes through the node even if the multiduct has been split/cut.
"Midspan" is modeled as follows:
The multiduct type attribute must be the same as for multiduct.
1.Select Reports > Trace > Trace of split multiducts.
2.Select the multiduct from which the tracing should start in the map.
3.The objects will be highlighted in the map view.
