Split route with drop-off point at property border

This tool is useful for designs that differentiate between the "public" part of the network and the part that is on private property. The tool requires configuration to determine which polygons to use from the background map or property polygons.

The tool operates on a collection of routes, selected with a polygon, that connect to a customer node. These routes will be split at the property border by creating a drop-off point at the border and a new route object between that point and the customer node. The old route object will be shortened but will retain all its other properties.

Only routes connected to a customer node will be included in the selection, even if other routes are within the selection polygon. The tool will highlight properties within that area simultaneously.

1.In the menu bar, select Autogeneration > Split route with drop-off point at property border.

2.Place a polygon around the area where you want to split the route. A dialog opens.

3.Specify the properties of the new route objects created between the drop-off point and the customer node. These properties include the subtype and the values of various fields, such as the route type.

4.Press OK.

If the route that was split contains content, the content will not be split.
